Points Guide
Extreme Bargains Points — the complete guide.
Every save, share and shop earns you points. Here's exactly how to stack them up — and the smartest ways to spend them.
The short version
Points are our way of rewarding the things bargain hunters do anyway: shopping great deals, posting the finds nobody else has spotted, and bringing your mates along for the ride. You spend them on digital gift cards, prize competition entries and live points auctions. Every new member starts with 100 points on the house — enough to enter your first competition the day you join.
How to earn
| What you do | Points | The small print |
|---|---|---|
| Sign up | 100 | One-off welcome bonus — lands the moment your account is created. |
| Shop through a deal | 1 pt per £1 | Tracked automatically when you click through from Extreme Bargains and buy. |
| Point Booster deals | up to 500 | Earn up to 500 points on selected boosted deals — look for the Booster badge. |
| Your first order | +100 | One-off bonus once the retailer confirms your first purchase. |
| Post a deal | +25 | For every deal you submit that gets approved. |
| Refer a friend | +100 | When they join. They get 100 to start too. |
| Share a deal | +1 per visitor | Every unique click on your share link, up to 20 a day. |
| Save a deal | +2 | For your first 5 saves each day. |
| Daily check-in | +1 | Plus a 20-point bonus every time you complete a 7-day streak. |
| Promo codes | varies | Dropped in our newsletter, socials and partner campaigns. |
The daily caps are there to keep things fair for everyone — the big points come from finding deals, sharing them and shopping them, not from tapping buttons.
When your points land
Check-ins, saves, shares, approved posts, promo codes and referral joins land instantly. Shopping points appear as pending first, then confirm once the retailer confirms your order — usually 30 to 60 days, which allows for delivery and returns windows. If an order is returned or cancelled, or the retailer doesn't confirm the purchase, the pending points for that order won't confirm.
How to spend
Prize competitions — entries from 50 points
Every entry is a ticket into the draw, and bigger prizes cost more points per entry. Enter as many times as you like up to the per-member limit shown on each competition. This is the fastest fun your points can buy — even a brand-new member's welcome bonus covers a couple of entries.
Points auctions
Real prizes, live timers, highest bid wins. Bids rise in fixed steps — 50 points on most lots, 100 on premium ones — so every bid means something. Any bid placed in the final two minutes extends the clock, so there's no last-second sniping: if you want it, you have to out-bid, not out-click. Only the winner pays their bid when the auction settles. Everyone else's points bounce straight back to their balance.
The voucher shop
| Points | Voucher value |
|---|---|
| 500 | £5 |
| 1,000 | £10 |
| 2,500 | £25 |
Digital gift cards for Amazon, Tesco, Costa and more, delivered to your account — usually instantly. The rate is the same at every tier, so redeem whenever it suits you; there's no bonus for hoarding.
The rules
Your points stay active as long as you do — any earn or check-in within 12 months keeps your whole balance alive. Points are tied to your account and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash, and it's one account per person.
You can't buy points. Everybody earns their way, which is exactly what keeps competitions and auctions fair — every point bidding against you was earned the same way yours were.
Fair play matters here. Fake referrals, click bots, duplicate accounts or anything else designed to game the system will get points removed and accounts closed. Earn rates, caps and rewards can change over time — we'll always give notice before they do, and the full legal detail lives in our Terms & Conditions.
